>Communism itself is full of some masonic symbolism.
since there are probably millions of things who are made a symbol in freemasonry, but only freemasons know, everyone can claim basically anything to be supposedly a symbol of freemasonry. sun, stars, swastikas, a rotten banana or a simple triangle shape might have some hidden meaning in a masonic ritual. however, that doesn't indicate that tibetan monks who might use swastikas or sub-saharan bushmen drawing spirals and triangles are members of some masonic lodge.
communism isn't fond of religions in general, including all sorts of occultism, and much less of secret societies consisting exclusively of rich and influential elitist people conspiring together in order to become even more rich and powerful on the expense of the average plebs.
consequently, freemasonry was outlawed in all communist states including ddr and ussr.
