To hear all of these Germans communicating in English with each other, it's like EC in person.

Blinds and all different types of curtains. Some even go as far as wearing sleep masks(?). I mostly deal with it because I'm too lazy to manually operate curtains. Would've bought automated totally blocking curtains from the Swedish furniture merchants but so far the system is battery operated. So it would only work until the battery runs out because I would be too lazy to charge/change it, whatever's the case.

Why do Germans communicate in English? Germans talk German with other Germans when abroad. Also, I felt weird when hearing German in the streets of Rome while I used English for days because of my host.

Shutters are one of the greatest inventions of humanity.
Never ever again do I want to sleep in a room, let alone live in an apartment that has no shutters.

Are there any southerners? Ask them what's the difference between bavaria and franconia.

Any easterners? Difference between Berlin and brandenburg?

I don't quite get it. Do you say names you think sound like German places, or did they tell you the names and you have to figure out which part of the map looks like "Mecklenburg-Vorpommern"?

Finns are apex sneaky, I've never met a Finn who wasn't a sneaky fuck. I would never call a Finn stupid because they are not they are incredibly clever, but also sneaky and untrustworthy in my experience
